Christi L. Underwood is an attorney who also provides arbitration and mediation services in the areas of complex construction and commercial disputes. She is a Florida Bar Board Certified Construction Lawyer and also licensed as a Class "A" certified general contractor in the State of Florida. She was a partner in commercial construction contracting businesses for over ten years before attending law school. Ms. Underwood was formerly a partner with the national firm of Foley & Lardner before starting her own practice in 2002. She has been a panelist with the American Arbitration Association since 1989 and currently is a member of the National and International Rosters of the AAA. In 2004, Ms. Underwood was invited to become a member of the AAA's Construction Arbitration Master Panel. Ms. Underwood was included in The Best Lawyers in America, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 Editions, Alternative Dispute Resolution section. In 2007, Ms. Underwood was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Construction Lawyers and a Fellow of the College of Commercial Arbitrators.
